@ BP

Whee~ I'm back from Redang, KL, Melaka and now sitting on the new sofa bed at my new house typing a new post.

Was back in hometown on last saturday to fetch my parents to KL on sunday, and monday off to Redang by flight, bus, and boat. All 3 ways of transport were used in to reach Redang. Dad didn't anticipate that we need to take a boat to our destination LOL. The trip was fun, but waiting takes long time - we wait for the boat, wait for the flight.

Redang was beautiful~ the beach is nice, but I thought I prefer Lang Tengah as it is more secluded, not that developed compared to Redang and Perhentian. However, snorkelling @ perhentian will be a better choice. I didn't get to dive at Redang this time as I forgot to bring my PADI ID and I am on low budget. So better save my bucks and butt as well.

Months before our trip, I have told my parents that we need to go down into the ocean. I guess they are not too bother about it. Then when the day come, I guess they still don't know what is waiting for them. :D

I took the chance to go under the very hot and bright sun to explore around and take some great pics.

After having our lunch, we got ourselves changed and pick up the snorkeling equipment to give dad and mum some training on how to use them.

Lunch-ing

Dad being him, didn't bother to learn how to use it and I actually thought he will be a fast learner and adapter. I taught mum to use equipment and breathing method in the resort's swimming pool and later brought her to the sea shore to get herself used to the life jacket. She's a bit shaky, but I think the training gave her some preparation. When mum finish with her training, I saw dad taking the snorkel and mask heading to the ocean trying to get on with it. Tried to teach him how to use them, and he said ok la ok la... So off we go to the first snorkeling.

The yacht we took is a big one, thus, it is not able to stop near the beach and had to stop some distance away where we actually need to swim there. Dad and sis can take care of themselves to get to the yacht, so all I had to take care is my mum. Hmm, her life jacket making her losing her balance. Anyway, I can handle her easily.

The first snorkeling, I think dad didn't anticipate that he is going to snorkel in the middle of the sea! haha, he got some problem with his equipment - that's the outcome for not attending my training~ sis take mum to swim around and I gotta take care of dad. Apparently he got some problem biting the mouth piece, guess due to his dentures, and his breathing method was wrong. Tried to taught him a few times, practice above the water before facing down again, still in vain. He was kinda nervous. So in the end, I brought him back to the yacht, and he just wanted to hold on to the yacht and keep his body in the water. Then I followed sis and mum to swim around.

Back from the trip, other than me, they are darn tired. LOL had our tea time and back to our room to rest and pamper our skin masks and lotion.

The second trip, luckily the marine park is by the sea side and there's a stair case by the jetty where dad can sit there to feed the fishes. I can see he enjoyed feeding them. Coz he asked me to get some bread for the trip later. But I didn't coz I knew the next trip will be in the middle of the sea. Then I wonder how he cope by grabbing the yacht and feeding the fish...

I am lazy to type anymore now. Let the photo speak for our trip now.

Met up with Lu Lu to chat for a while and took a pic

The norm - to take a pic with the resort name
Off we go to Marine Park. Mum enjoyed snorkeling!
Yea!

It's just not us

When 2 people get together and start a relationship, it's not just 2 people are involved.

I've decided, I should not bother what others have said, I do not want others to get in my plan. Who cares? I don't give a damn.

My latest possession, hot from oven!

Went to Isetan with Coll S to shop around, I wanted to buy some working wear and wanted to change my 500 Euro note to smaller denominations. Called to Mid Valley, they have no stock, luckily I found my receipt in the dustbin, called to KL central, luckily they have smaller change and willing to change with me. That makes me so relief... Coz I found out that it's kinda hard to use 500Euro in Europe. Then I start to wonder, what to do if I got stuck with the 500 note. Thanks to the MBB bureau de change in KL central, the guy is so friendly and nice.

Back to my main topic, while trying to look for winter clothing in Isetan, we spotted the timberland sales, and it was 199bucks, according to coll S, it's very cheap. Furthermore, 10% discount with Isetan member card. I found the 149bucks shoe and planned to buy it, since I wanted to get a sport shoe and it is timberland. However, in the end I chose the 199bucks one because it was lighter and more to running shoe instead of just hiking shoe. Means, can hike and run. I am extremely happy with my purchase :D

Happy 2nd Anniversary!

Another 15mins to the 2nd day of our 2nd anniversary :D Over the past year, we have been through many things, which get us love each other even more. Our milestone? We bought a condo unit together, started to think of how to decorate our house, research in housing magazines, started to save our wedding fund, did some side income together - selling coach bags and herbalife, trying to feed each other fatter and trying to diet together (but I know he will fail haha). Oh yea, I especially like the expression of the day of my darling :D I also started to pick up topics like investment, economics and business in our discussion. Well, partly due to what I've learnt in MBA and more involved in investment... That makes us having neverending story to discuss and tell.

Well, of course there were arguments and unhappy disagreement between us. However, despite that, we are more in love with each other Like most will say, if you never being in unhappiness, you will never realize and treasure happiness. This is always right.

Darling is working in US again but this time around, he got himself a netbook with webcam. So I am overwhelm to video chat with him everyday, looking at his piggy face :D

Thanks to my darling for his neverending love, encouragement and support. I really owe much to my darling for his encouragement and support, which holds me up and pushes me to reach for my goals. Although we might not be able to spend some important days like anniversary or birthday together, but I realize indulging in happiness everyday is even more important than these days

I love you, darling!♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

oops, by the time I finish the blog, it's a brand new day again!

Apple cake

4pm, wake up after nap, nothing to do at all, decided to bake a cake with what i've got in my house. Oops, my flour expired 2months back, anyway, just use it ba~

Googled for apple cake recipe - because I only have apples, pear, orange. And, i don't have butter...So will replace butter with vegetable oil. I choose the one with vegetable oil, and another one which looks easy. Recipe 1 & recipe 2 and of course, my agak-ration. Haha

Step 1: Sift the flour, baking soda, and cinnamon. Stir with sugar, vanilla, eggs, oil, apple and walnut. There's is mix below:

Step 2: Put in oven for 30mins, 160 degree. Agak-ration comes in, coz need to depend on your oven size, and its behaviour.

Step 3: Voila~ here's the apple cake. Actually I still couldn't grab the behaviour of my oven. The inside of the cake is perfect, but the outside is crust, crispy crust. -_-

Anyway, I'm happy with the result :D

And after I put the cake into the oven, I made myself spagetti. Woohoo~ I am a multitasker! hehe

500Euro

I've been watching Euro to MYR trend for some time and finally, yesterday I went to mid valley to buy Euro. Maybank at mid valley offers same rate as the money changer there, in order to compete better, so without any hassle of queuing at the money changer, I change @ maybank counter. HAHA

But, both money changer and Maybank counter only have single 500euro note available... Actually, I planned to change 400euro, but forced to change 500. There goes my 2137.50MYR T_T

Anyway, the rate is the lowest since my observation, so I plan to change bit by bit, to leverage my cost of buying. I hope it goes lower this month! BLR is normalizing, PIIGGS is having some financial issues, cross my finger euro will drop! :P

Oh yea, I managed to call in to 8tv quickie yesterday! I'm overwhelmed! I tried so many times previously and I know the trick now - should only call on fri or sat nite, where people go out partying, I'm calling in at home to get goodies and freebies yay! I aint quite sure what I've won, but definitely 2 tickets for The Losers, and I hope i got the origins product!
