Working in bank, there are a lot of job grade minded people. FYI, employees in bank have different job grade to show their seniority. You have to climb grade by grade and you hardly surpass your senior in your job grade no matter how great you are, subject to your boss preferences.
Some boss with no balls nor brain, they will just be blind for their staffs career path.
Some boss who likes people to polish their boots, so those people will promote faster.
Well, that happens anywhere i think.
The job grade thingy is ok, but I hate those people who are conscious about the job grade.
Once, we went for a treated dinner and the last person came with the highest job grade comment about us not waiting for her. Her job grade is the highest yet we dare to eat. Come on, wtf. Since your job grade is so high, then you just eat your job grade then!
Today, I gave my soon to be ex boss signed some document and need to update something which the person in charge already knew the changes. However, my boss asked, what's her job grade? And she said, she doesn't want to talk to officer. Come on, we are executives, not officer. What is so great about her job grade? Getting high pay and doing nothing? Being an old hag but putting make up thick as 1 inch?
Something sarcastic I saw on her. Wearing a white coat but all her ICIs was on her coat's collar. PATHETIC. So, what's the use of putting those ICI? what a shame. My mother didn't put any cosmetic on her face, also far more better looking and look younger than her although having the same age. What's the point of her using damn expensive skin care but having face like foo chok? Wasted. What's the point taking the ugly LV bag whereas there are so many far more nicer LV ? No taste.
