Yesterday night, my darling proposed to me! No 3宝, but that was good enough. A half carat diamond ring (with GIA cert), half kneel and touching words. I shall upload the pic of my bling bling ring later :D

2011 年很快的就要过了。我究竟在今年做了什么有意义的事呢？
-减肥增肥减肥增肥减肥增肥，到头来，2012年还是得做这件事
-去了一趟夏威夷。真是个好地方，好想移民过去呢。。。
-那了升级版的潜水执照 - 虽然在夏威夷潜水，但是还是没看到鲨鱼
-我的Coach 包包家族又扩大了 ^^
-得到了一个平板型电脑 - 多谢我的Darling 咯！
-然后呢，最最开心的一件事，就是在10月中换了份工作。超开心的。当然，因为工钱好很多（根之前的公司比）然后工作时间，性质，环境，公司文化都是我梦寐以求的。让我深深相信Law of Attraction 这件事。

2012 要加倍努力！希望能买到第2间房子！要顺顺利利从我的MBA毕业！加油！加油！加油！

Hawaii travel log Part IV

Oh my oh my, I haven't finish my travel log yet.. Darling is coming back in another 1 month's time and I haven't even finish my september travel log. -.-

Ok, I am lazy I admit.

So this log will be about Maui. Let's start our journey.
We arrived at Maui early morning and after we get our rental car, we planned to head off to our hotel. However, the scenery around Kahului is irresistable, so we detour a bit from our original route. Firstly, we stop by Costco thinking to get some mineral water, but the carton was too big and in the end, we only bought a big bottle of fruit juice.

We follow the GPS to the nearest attraction, Ioa Needle state park. I like US because they have many state parks that is very well maintained.

Actually we wanted to hike up, just 100+ stairs but it was raining then...and when we were half way driving out, the rain stopped. Whatever...

Then, we continue our journey to Kapalua, where our hotel is situated. It was quite a long drive, more than an hour. Of course, we were still wide awake because of the super scenic views. There were also many scenic stops which allowed visitors, cars to stop by to enjoy the view. Another plus point :)

But interestingly, along Maalea towards Lahaina was a very dry area where the grasses turn yellow and wild fires will happen sometimes. Very extreme difference from Kahului.

Finally, after a long ride, we arrived at The Ritz Carlton, Kapalua. Very out of nowhere indeed. Our room was not ready until 4pm. What the heck. What's worse, we need to pay for our carpark + resort fee! What's included in the resort fee? The access to swimming pool, gym and whatsoever facilities. Oh my! I thought that came with the room. Breakfast is not included by the way. I did not feel any exclusiveness although we had a personal manager who contacted us earlier on our needs. Why? Because she was on leave. Damn it.

We spend around 2 hours there wandering around and head to the beach to have a walk. But the wait was too long. So we headed out to have lunch and walk around Lahaina. I remember it was 3pm and the damn room was still not ready. What kind of 6 star service did Ritz Carlton has? Once we were halfway out, the reception called and inform us that our room was ready. What the @#!!#!

Nevermind, we still need to eat. So, off we go to Lahaina.

Interesting to know, Lahaina is not a beach. It was a shore line with no beach. Beaches were along the along but not at Lahaina. There were some surfing event going on though.

We went to darling's favourite, Famous Dave to have our lunch. Nice ribs! I wanted to buy their merchandise T shirt but no price was shown! So better do not expose my wallet to any danger of being burning a hole.

Lahaina is quite a touristy area with many small markets and shops. Many tourist as well. Totally different feeling from the exclusive Kapalua.

We spent some time walking around Lahaina, try to scout a nice shade for my brother but ouch, that was too expensive - Maui Jim. I must own a pair of Maui Jim 1 day! FYI, Maui Jim is a very good shades with very high technology of anti glare. I have never seen it in Malaysia though...guess it only sells in US.

Heading back to the hotel, where finally we get to check in to our room. Seems nice isn't it? Big bed, big bathroom, with champagne in fact. Why? Because we told them we were having our honeymoon and voila- free champagne :D okla, darling is the platinum member of Marriot group of hotels, Ritz Carlton is one of the partner ma...

We were quite happy about the room, but not happy about the view. Which darling was very angry about and demanded them to change a room for us. Look at the view...this is their so called ocean view room.

So we felt so cheated and demanded them to change a room for us. After some calls, the bell boy was here to bring us to our new room.

What a big difference in the views! Apparently the new room they gave to us was actually the more expensive ones. only 8 full ocean view room in a block. Yea, who asked them to simply quote ocean view rooms but it's blocked with all the trees.

After we enjoyed our champagne which is not to my taste, rested a while and head to the swimming pool. Yea, already night time. The only good thing was the pool facilities were opened for 24hours.

The next morning, we head to the beach of Ritz Carlton. Actually it was not private beach, it was accessible by outsiders too. You just can't own a beach there. We played for quite some time there. I ended up with bikini lines marks on my shoulders.

I am not slacking, I am busy. Not too busy too, but I have like conference call every Tuesday and Wednesday at night; on and off conference call at other days and of course during office hours. But calls during office hours are actually with my boss in India.

So far, I am happy working in Monster :) Although I don't quite like the lunch, but hey, it's free so beggars can't be choosers. Well, I'm not beggar but since it's free might as well eat in. My lunch mates didn't go out for lunch what..

What a day today, I had 2 conference call in a row since 8pm. And tomorrow will be a hectic day! Having 5 conference call since afternoon till night. But yes, I am happy ^ ^

2nd day as a Monsterian

It's my 2nd day at new company today. The first day was good, whereby I am not doing nothing at work like I was in Maybank for the first 3 months. I have a list of training schedule and it goes all the way to November. My company gave me a gigantic laptop, weights like 5kg. Well, I know it's not, but for sure more than 3kg. My tech guy told me that is a very high end laptop and runs on 8GB RAM. Oh I know this, super fast speed. However, my outlook hangs sometimes...

Besides, I was given a blackberry as well. Nothing fancy, it's a curve 9300, but the main point is, unlimited data plan. Sounds perfect. I know, when they give me a black berry, it means I got to work at off office hours. Well, I am the only member in my team in Malaysia, so that's unavoidable isn't it.

My colleagues seems nice and friendly too.

I was a little bit freak out when I had a meeting just now with some boss in US. It's a tele conference and I can't really get 100% of what he said. Due to his accent T_T all his words sounds like stick together and it was a bit hard for me to comprehend. sighs.. I hope I will get use to it and be able to catch what they say. Tele conference is quite a hard thing for me... I can't see their face and sometimes can't catch what they say. I think maybe I have some problems with my ears... need to clear the wax maybe.

Farewell Maybank

Finally, today is my last working day with Maybank. I first joined the bank back in 2nd Jan 2008. Time really flies. Within my tenure with Maybank, loads and heaps of things happened. I got to know darling, which is my most precious gift from Maybank; started my MBA course, learn to be wiser in calculating money, saving money, investments, got an unpaid leave to go to Europe, got 18k bonus for the first time, got staff benefits, got many many days of leave so I can lepak around and went to Hawaii.

At first when I join Maybank, I feel quite ashamed to tell people coz Maybank was infamous for its service, which I hate it myself too. Later on, I realized Maybank has very good banking facilities which I can really make a good use of them and everything is just within clicks; I started to promote for my company. I told my friends on Maybanks product, from loan, savings, gold, to credit card. Even my friends said I should go to be sales person. Actually I just have better understanding on the products, pros and cons.

Therefore, when RHB offered my assistant project manager post, I was still hesitating. Despite I was also waiting for offer from Monster, I was evaluating RHB and Maybank too. Of course, after that I chose Monster :) However, I had this thought, if I were to jump to other banks, I will choose CIMB or other foreign banks. Coz CIMB is the nearest local competitor to Maybank.

Although I left Maybank for a brighter future, I can proudly say I am a proud ex-Maybanker!

Hawaii travel log Part III

On darling's birthday, we flew to Hilo to strart our island hopping trip. It's not those island hopping at Redang to other small islands, this one needs to fly. Thanks to Frank who dropped us at the airport.

Hilo is a town at Hawaii or Big Island. The biggest island among the 8 Hawaiian islands and it is still growing. Why? because the lava from the volcano flows to the ocean. The airport is an open air one and looks really simple.

Darling chose the window seat where we can have the island view. I wonder how he knows how the plane will fly...

We got our rental car and off we go to check in to our hotel - Hilo Hawaiian Hotel. Apparently that is the best hotel at Hilo area. Hilo is an area full with rain fall. It rained a few times in our first day. And the rain is not light shower like those in Honolulu. It was like those rain in Malaysia. Took some time to look for our hotel because the name we book should be Castle Hilo Hotel, which also known as Hilo Hawaiian. Stop by a park to look around and search for the hotel booking to get the exact address; and realize that the hotel was just next to the park we were at.

And so, this is our hotel, with perfect sea view. But with no beach =.=

Although there were no beach there, but I really like the view. Especially next day in the morning, because it was sunny and the view was superb! So after we checked in, rested for a while, off we go to visit the coconut island, which was just next to the hotel too. The location was the best one. From the top, you can see the shape of the hotel looks like a coconut tree.

There was a tour counter in our hotel and they offer Mauna Kea trip at 175USD per pax. Very expensive but Mauna Kea is one of the main attraction in Big Island. So darling decided to go for it, thanks to him, to pay for me also :D We decided to join the trip on the second day, because I need to get myself a pair of thicker track bottom, or jeans.

So, we did some self driving light trip to Rainbow falls, Boiling pots, Mauna Loa factory, shopping at Walmart & Ross. We were back to hotel rather early on the first night, 9pm maybe.

We spent quite some time to shop around, looking for suitable pants, bought water at Walmart, and continue to look for my suitable pants in Ross. Finally I got myself a Levi's jeans for 16USD, and back to hotel to call it a day.

The next morning, we got up rather early to visit Ken's pancake shop again for our breakfast. Darling introduced me Egg & Benedict on the first day and I fell in love with that! So I pestered darling to go there again so that I can eat that again. After breakkie, we head to National Volcano Park. It's quite cold when we were nearly there because we were going uphill and it was still morning.

The national park ticket for a car can last 1 week and the park was open for 24hours. After we visited the tourist information centre to check on the spot of interest and the safe path to go, watch a video and started our journey at the park.

However, we didn't take the Kilauea Iki trail because we need to get back to hotel before 3pm to join the Mauna Kea tour. So we continue to drive to our destination Sea Arch. Stop by a few nice scenic point on the way. I could not believe that I was actually physically present at these beautiful natural view. It was too amazing!

So after the sea arch, we drove straight back to our hotel, stopped by Jack in the box to grab our lunch. Got back to our hotel room to change my jeans and by the time we went to the lobby, the tour van is already there. A bit disappointed actually because I thought it should be a 4wd or jeep, instead of a van.

So Elridge, our tour guide, brought us to Rainbow falls (again) and stop by 7-11 for us to grab some water and food. Later, we head to Mauna Kea. He stop at some scenic point for us to take pictures as well as for our lungs to expand to prevent any altitude sickness. Mauna Kea is maybe around the height as Mt Kota Kinabalu from the sea level. However, it's base was far deep into the sea base. The stats says Mauna Kea is even higher than Mt Everest.

After hanging around at the visitor information centre, we continued our way to the top. The purpose stopping a few times was for our lungs to expand according to the altitude gradually, other than taking some scenic view photos.

We went back to National Volcano Park at 12midnight again to take a look at the active crater with glare and smoke. It was amazing, but I was a chicken heart. Pestering darling to get back asap. Well, there was only us in the area and it was so windy, dark and only us! Kinda scary isn't it?

RIP Steve Jobs

What a news to know this morning when I read on the internet. The legendary Steve Jobs has passed away. I always love apple products but only own 1 ipod shuffle. What to do, everything carries apple brand is so expensive and to get an ipad2, you have to queue early in the morning which I am too lazy to do so. When it is finally no need to queue, the competitors came out with really compatible products with expandable memory and let you have a better control of the tablet; which makes me to think twice.

Anyhow, I just wish to pay my tribute to the legendary Steve Jobs - great innovator and pitchman.

Hawaii travel log Part II

On the Monday, I started my AOW diver course. I took a bus to Ala Moana harbor to meet up with Liv, my instructor for the day. Oh well, I didn't answer the question at the back of each chapter.. shame me.. And another shame for me is throughout the whole diving course, I did not have any underwater photo. Firstly, I do not have a casing for my camera... its water proof can only endure snorkelling but not diving. Secondly, Gabe actually told me that he can take some pics for me, but too bad, he wasn't the one who dove with me :(

Ala Moana Harbor

The first dive suppose to be a refresher dive. I am suppose to do some simple skills underwater. However, halfway down, I wasn't able to equalize my ear on 1 side. So I hung myself to the rope and waited for the crew to dive around. The wave was damn strong and I felt so sick. Interval time, I vomitted. Rested for around an hour, and continue to do the second dive. The second trip was good but my buoyancy suck big time. I am suppose to do hand stand but somehow I don't know how. I felt quite embarrassed actually. After finished the second dive, I vomitted so much on the boat. I thought it may due to the cheesecake I had in the morning. I always felt super bloated with the food during and after diving.

So after finished our dives, Jessica, my dive buddy sent me to the dive shop to wrap up our day, and very kind of her, sending me back to darling's condo. It was a very tired day. I wasn't able to make myself to move outside anymore. Not until when darling comes back and go for dinner, I have actually forgotten what we ate on that night ohh nooo~

The next day is a diving day as well, I got to meet Drew at the dive shop at 645am and he got to pick up another 2 people from Waikiki. This time we went to West shore to dive. It was a long drive... more than an hour I think. But the view was scenic. Especially when we reach our destination, Waianae Harbor. From the harbor, the mountains look so magnificent.

We are supposed to do 2 deep dive, and wreck dive. However, my first dive was disastrous. I had palpitation when I got deeper. I had anxiety and I can't control but keep telling myself it's deep. So, Drew took me to a higher level and make sure that I am all well. I really respect his professionalism. He really know what he was doing and showed all the professionalism. Throughout the dive, he keep me with him and make sure I am ok. I can't do my deep diving skills though.. On the second dive, we went to a wreck and I tried to perform what he told me to but he didn't really want to check on the wreck dive skills. Anyway, the second dive was much better. Maybe because I told myself that was the last dive trip for the week :P
I thought I like diving. But at that point of time, I am so scared of it and hope it pass quickly.

So Drew sent me back and since it is still early, I took a walk around the downtown.

I am very impress of myself. Because from darling's condo, I walked to King Kamehameha's statue, then continue to Aloha tower, and followed by Ross, near darling's house. Thanks to his GPS haha! When darling was off from work, he fetch me from Ross and head to dinner at Lobster king, together with Frank, his housemate. Frank was very kind to give us a treat, for welcoming me Yeah! The lobster was only 9.90USD with other dishes ordered. Superlicious, but we forgotten to take any pics of them.

Wednesday, rest day for me. I went to send postcards, visit the courthouse, and to Ross! Yes, again, because I did not manage to buy anything the day before. Call me a shopaholic and I happily agree. I do watch over my pocket though...Darling came to find me for lunch, but apparently the shop that we wanted to go is close during the time. So, darling headed back to his office and left me to had my own lunch at Nijiya Market. Yes, I was smart enough to find bento food so that I do not need to give any tips to the waiter/waitress. Then I proceed to Ala Moana shopping mall.

I did not buy a lot at Ala Moana, which I really regretted so much. Coz after the labor day holiday and I went back again, all the sales were gone! No more sales! I was in Ala Moana until 7pm when darling called me to fetch me. Very impressed on myself again on how much I can walk. I had a bad ankle, having accessory navicular bone. But I still can endure the pain and walk for more than 8 hours! We went back to the restaurant that we were supposed to had our lunch earlier. It was a great choice.

Hawaii travel log Part I

Seriously, I don't know how many parts this will take. I will try to keep it short and concise. So let's talk from the start...

Firstly, thanks to Jenny and Edwin for fetching me to the airport and treating me an expensive but so so dinner in KLIA. Not saying they treat me so so dinner, my point is KLIA food so so only. We do not have enough time to eat before that.

Fast forward >>>>

I took Korean Air for this trip and it's fair to say their service and food are good. However, at some point, I do not really satisfy with their service. They got no menu to provide. Anyway, they fed me well.

At Incheon Airport

So after grabbed some food, I join the transit tour namely Seoul City tour which costs me USD40. This is because I have a 12hours transit time! Good for me since I have not been in Seoul yet, and this only costs 40bucks. The trip covers 1 palace, 1 temple, a famous stream and Insadong street - for shopping. The trip is actually quite short for me which ended around 230pm. Well, coz my next flight is 7pm.

Actually, I don't think the trip is interesting. Palace and temples looks the same. The lunch also so-so... This might be due to the fact that I am still full with the KFC bulgogi burger though. Insadong street is much more interesting for me.

So, once we were back to the airport, I took a chance to take a shower at the airport and shopped around. I like Incheon airport for the cultural centre and the activities that we can do there. There are cultural shows which makes our time at the airport much interesting, rather than shopping at the duty free stores. Well, for me the duty free stores are attractive as well :D

In fact, I spent so much time walking around and shopping around, testing the seaweed and thinking which one to buy, I only spent like 10 - 15mins for the free wifi while waiting for boarding.

To my surprise, Korean air served Bibimbap as one of their meals. Quite nice I would say, of course without the stone bowl! Surprise, surprise. Then in the morning before reaching Hawaii, they served porridge. Green tea porridge! It was my first time to eat something like that but it tasted superb. Too bad I didn't have chance for breakfast on the way back :(

The flight was actually delayed for around 40mins. I was fast asleep when boarded the plane but when I woke up, the plane was still in the run way waiting for its turn to fly. So I arrived at Hawaii around 10am+ After spent some time get through the immigration, location my luggages and get myself out at the arrival gate. It was still Friday morning in Hawaii. Darling was already waiting for me there ^^ presented me the lei and sent me back to his house.

And so, I went to sleep coz I am so damn tired! I didn't manage to get a good sleep from both flight to Hawaii. I slept until around 6pm when darling called me again to get me for dinner. Oh, I forgot that I didn't bring camera out for dinner... too bad. Oh, we went to Walmart after dinner too. Didn't bring camera though, but there's nothing much to take photo about Walmart la...Darling also introduced his favourite Jamba juice for me. JAMBA juice, not JAMBAN ok... it's fruit smoothies. We manage to get to Ross for a while and wow, I was astonished by the price of their shoes. So cheap! Those were branded shoes at a very cheap price!

On Saturday, darling brought me to eat dim sum near his place around chinatown and we went around chinatown for a walk.

After that, we went to Kaimana Divers, where I am supposed to meet Gabe to discuss about my diving course. Yes, I took the Advance Open Water Diving course in Hawaii, which costs me around 366 USD. There are a total of 6 dives and I only managed to enjoy 3 due to my personal performance problem -.-

So after the talk at Kaimana Divers, darling brought me to Ross nearby. All the clothes, shoes, bags are so cheap over there. I spent a little too much time there heehee... bought a pair of Levi's jeans at only 13bucks, a blouse for my mum and a dress for myself. Then we head to fetch darling's colleague to get their groceries at Costco.

After shopping and fetching his colleagues back, we went to Waikiki beach to take a stroll and supposedly to take dinner there. We stopped by many shops, bought a pair of Nine west shoe for 20bucks, ate yogurt at Yogurtland, and finally, reached our destination at The Cheesecake Factory. Darling commented that after eating the cake from cheesecake factory, he felt secret recipe was keeping their ingredients short, which I agree too.

Sunday was a shopping day at outlet mall. We spent so much time there until we left little time for boogie boarding :p However, we still squeeze some time to do that at Waikiki.

And we went to Aloha Tower's Hooters to dine. We had numerous chicken wing that night. Why? Because it was a chicken wing buffet night. I realized that I had the symptoms of UTI and quickly ordered cranberries juice to ease the symptoms. Drinking lots of water, cranberries juice, and dried cranberries after dinner. That WORKS.

It has been a long post isn't it? I shall stop here and draft for the second one. HAHA

In the search of my motivation

Oh, I have deserted my blog once again. Was lazy to update coz facebook is everything for updates now. No I shan't do that. Some of the things can't be shared thru facebook, which I can do it here.

So well, I am back from my 17days Hawaii trip. Got my AOW diver license and spend a lot of money. But I had a great time with darling. That's the important point.

Today team lead told me boss wanna say something to me about transfer issue, then I go straight to boss. Boss said no, it's regarding my work performance.. saying that physically I am there but my heart is not there anymore. I did not deny this point, I just say got work then I do. Working as usual. However, personally I agree with what they said. This happened since I can't get E for my last year performance. Subconsciously affected me, and I already do not care about all these KPI, since bosses are not doing 1 to 1 at all, and do not share information with us.

Anyway, I just need to endure for another week!

After 1 year, the baking season come back again. Purely because I've been seeing a lot of people baking and showing the result on facebook, so it tackles my baking mood again. Plus, I've done with my thesis proposal, and have no classes now.

Recently have a thought. But drop the thought after yesterday night. It wasn't a good choice afterall. :)

Budapest Part 3

And so I shall finish my budapest part 3.

The next day, we went to margeret island, walk around the city according to the map, and went to Citadell.

And after that, we went to the famous Budapest market. You can find all hungarian food stuff here. There are 2 storeys, upstairs has some bars and stall selling souvenirs. The souvenirs are all overprice!

And on the night, we went to watch 4Euro concert at Budapest Concert hall, just a few blocks away from our hostel and it is so grand! Most of the audience wore formal dresses!

And the night ends~ We went to the airport early morning to catch a flight back to Germany.

Bad things come in 3

I was on the phone with Siang Ying and told her my series of unfortunate events. And so she told me bad things come in 3. Hmmpph, I thought I've got all 3 and hail lady of luck!

1. Accident
2. Gastric
3. Spent 60bucks on taxi because I forgot to get my handphone back from the US embassy!

Here's the story, last night 12midnight, I had discomfort on my stomach, took Actal but after 1 hour, the condition getting worse. So I called up sis and bro in law came to my aid. Sent me to 24hours clinic and saw the doctor, took the medicine... However, the whole night was bad. The pain is still there and I suffered diarrhea as well. So I barely had any sleep. As if it ain't enough, I got to wake up at 545am coz I had call the cab to come over at 615am to send me to US embassy. Kiasu ma.. my appointment is 740am but since today is the first day of school reopen, I better don't play with the traffic. The taxi came at 6am, I got to the US embassy around 620am. Waited there for an hour plus, started to go in at 730am. Managed to get my visa approved around 8plus and hailed a taxi to go back home. But f*ck. I forgot to get my handphone from the guard house. So I took the taxi again, the driver already reset the meter!!! Back to the embassy and get my handphone and back home again. Total bill for the taxi to and fro for today was almost 60bucks T_T

Slept for some hours, watch some drama, chat with darling and played some game. Cooked mihun soup as lunch and went to pasar malam just now to buy chiffon cake, banana, soya milk and 100plus as dinner. Which I suppose these can help me to regain my energy.

And I shall continue with my thesis proposal preparation! Gambate!

I know I've been slacking. Yes, I am just purely lazy. Even I got nothing to do at home, I rather watch drama than doing my thesis proposal. Oh, that is such a bad bad attitude and waste of time.

Good news to share:
I have got good results for my MBA for my exchange semester, 2As, and surprisingly, I did get good result for this semester too. 2As 1A-. I do hope that I finish my MBA with a very good CGPA so that I can appeal for a pass in paying PTPTN. Not easy but I will try.

Bad news:
I had an car accident on 30th May, on the way home from MLC at KL Seremban highway, involving 4cars. Don't ask me why it happen, if I know, it won't happen at all. By the time I realized the car in front of me stop, I have already on my emergency brake. Still, I bang into the car. What's worse, the car behind me bang into my car and the car behind it, bang again. The force is quite big, I suffered a whip and lash injury on my neck. Well, it's ok, after taking xrays and the diagnosis is just muscle injury, which I got to wear a soft cervical collar for 2 weeks. Thank god for that.

I did not get a chance to take a photo of my car because my hp battery was flat when the accident happened. I had to borrow phone from the other car owners to notify sis on my situation. I don't even get to call the insurance road assistance. Luckily, (I hope) a malay tow truck uncle help me. Since he was showing the perodua name card to me, vow to Allah that he is not doing any cheating business and so I let him settle my car. He brought me to clinic on my request to check on my neck, to police station to lodge a report and alas, send my car to perodua service center. That's the most important part. At least I know that my car is in the right hand.

After making a few calls, at least I know that the car started to get fixed now after insurance approval. Let's hope that I can get it in 3weeks time, as what the service center ppl told me.

Updates:
I am in the midst of preparing my documents for US visa application, yes, I am going to the US, but only Hawaii, for 2 weeks. Darling exchanged his flyback ticket for me to go over. I am having the interview appt on Monday. Let's hope for the best. :)

My Coach Collection

Been thinking of to take photo for my Coach bags collection since last month. However, I was busy for exam and if I did that during exam week, I will feel so guilty! So, since I'm done with my exams now, it's time to showcase my collection :) Oh, my bags hailed all the way from US.

Voila, this is my first Coach bag, which follow me to Europe as well :)

Fourth one, it is a wristlet. Basically I'm using it now as my wallet coz it's easy to bring. Although I still have the wallet in above pic in my bag.

My 5th coach bag. It is a very useful bag coz it's big enough and it keep my things in order. Using it as my office bag. And of course, I do go interview with this bag too hehe

So we are a happy family :) I guess the collection will end here, and hope for LV ones. HAHA

Budapest Trip Part II

And so, I was about to blog on my Italy trip, I recalled I have yet to finish the Budapest one. -_-

Another little fact, Budapest is actually the combination of 2 cities called Buda and Pest. So, one side on the river is Buda the old town and another side is Pest the new town. We spent most of our time at Pest. The palace on the hill is at the Buda side.

As planned, we were heading to Heroes Square and time for relax - Famous Thermal Bath @ Budapest on the second day :)

The buildings in Budapest are very unique and beautiful. It's a bit different from those in Italy, France but I couldn't describe it. Maybe they do not look as trendy but look very authentically Europe.

I've actually forgotten how much is the entrance per day. Not too expensive is all I can remember. There was a nearby metro station and easily found. The inside of it is extremely big. Although Wiesbaden in Germany also famous of thermal bath but it was a shame that I didn't manage to visit Wiesbaden well enough. Most of the time I was shopping around only. :P

Budapest Trip Part I

A little of fact, Budapest is located in Hungary in case anyone doesn't know :)

Me and Jia Ning, from China, took a euronight train on the 10th Dec 8pm from Berlin to Budapest. The trip took 13hrs and luckily, I've booked a sleeper car for us. When I boarded the train, the seats aren't like those in ICE. We got ourselves a 6 bed sleeper and we got the top beds, which had more head space and cabin space where we can put our bags. What more cool, breakfast is included :) 1 bread and 1 box of orange juice, if I can still recall.

We arrived in Budapest in the morning, took a train to look for our hostel. The train system in Budapest is quite similar like the one in Prague. It is very very deep down into the ground. And their escalator in the train station is at top speed. I had to be very cautious each time I take the escalator. I was wondering if Malaysia's LRT escalator was at that kind of speed, even the PM will fall down. haha!

And so, when we reach our hostel, we spend some time finding the correct door and waiting for the owner to come to pass us the key. However, we were unable to check in yet since it was still 10am, as the check in time is 2pm. So we left our luggage at the bar downstairs and head to walk around.

The hostel area is a strategic place whereby it's just next to the Budapest highstreet. LV, Burberry, all the luxury brands. The national theater is located there as well. And we got ourselves tickets for concert for the next night. It was incredibly cheap. approx 4euro! Compare to the concert darling and I watched in Vienna, it was 36euro!

So back to topic, it was snowing the whole day. We went to the places of interest based on the map given by the hostel owner, which I've forgotten his name... The first stop, St Stephen Basilica.

I had a fall at the square area due to slippery floor with thick snow...

After that, we head to their famous Parliament. It was so damn cold and we had to find a coffee shop to hide while waiting for the time to visit the Parliament. Our shoes were so damp and I can feel the chill in my feet.

For sure it was less than 0 centigrade but didn't find out what is the grade though. A little drama when we visiting the Parliament. Supposedly, the parliament is giving a limited number of ticket free but when we were there, the guards told us the tickets were finished. When we were about to walk away, 2 ladies told us that there are a tour to go in and just pay some money. Weird isn't it! Nonetheless, we decided to pay to get in, since it's with a guide.

And so, after the parliament, we head to the chain bridge by walking. Well, we didn't manage to figure out the tram line in Budapest, so we can only walk and walk for long long distance. It was indeed super duper cold. And the snow is still heavy...

Then we walked across to bridge to get to the palace of Budapest. We had to take a funicular train uphill. The snow continues to pour in heavily like nobody's business. Every night when we went back to our hostel, we need to dry our shoes with hair dryer and put in under/ above the heater.

While everyone is minding their own business, please spare a moment to pray for Japan.

I was thinking about my darling didn't spend enough time for me for the coming trip and I was browsing CNN at the same time. So, it struck me that, I should pray for Japan rather than feeling sad for myself. Nonetheless, I hope darling could spend more time with me too. At least if 2012 prophecy is real, I did spend enough time with the people I love and won't be regret about it :)

I hope the best and pray hard for Japan. Hope everything returns to normal and everyone work their best to rebuild the country.

A little updates

Oh no, I left my blog deserted again. Been busy since after chinese new year with a lot of things.

Or, I'm just being too lazy to do anything at all. Darling is back for CNY break, so I did nothing at all just to stay together with him. I am extremely lazy this semester as I felt that I've studied for too long time. Preseverence!

I am planning to change my job for a higher pay but I felt that I have no skill set at all. How could it be? But I am in low morale and low self esteem mode now. Well, what I can do is just continue to work and pick up my pace for my MBA this semester. At the same time, try to look for a job :D

I'm having palpitation lately too. Guess it must be the law of attraction coz I've been thinking of it. So now I have to think of my irregular period to become regular, have bigger boobs etc. Law of attraction!

Being at my career bottle neck now, I've decided to follow darling's footstep to explore other kind of belief when nobody can answer your question. Worry not, I am just buying myself a Joey yap bazi profiling report which cost me 65.99usd. Apparently, I'm not really doing what I am suppose to do but, a bit related la... which means maybe I should switch my path a bit where I can shine! :D

We are planning to switch our ISP to unifi but apparently, it seems like they do not have the coverage at my place :( My internet at home is unbearable. Nevertheless, when we can't do anything with the internet at home, we went out to hunt for food. Snow Flake dessert from Taiwan just opened some time ago at Kuchai Lama and we went for a try. The business at the shop is very good and their desserts taste superb too.

Berlin trip

I hope it's not too late to post my Berlin trip. Let me reminisce about my life in Europe after 1 month I'm back in Malaysia. Williams, Jia Ning and me visited Berlin from 7th to 10th Dec. The weather was super cold for that few days and snowed heavily. My boots were wet but not as bad as when I was in Italy (which I will blog about it later).

I've forgotten what time we reached Berlin, but the sky was already dark. Well during winter, the sky gets dark around 5pm, which I was cheated by it a few times to have really early dinner. LOL

After check in to our hostel, we headed off for our dinner. That's my dinner, my beloved pork ribs :D

We followed the Berlin free tour the next morning to get to know more historical places in Berlin as well as places of interest. I'm truly amazed how Berlin or I should say Germany can be this successful although the Berlin wall fell for only less than 50 years. Considering Malaysia has be independent for more than 50 years, our country is really lagging and what a failure.

We also visited the island of musuems where there are at least 5 musuems on the island. Well, not those island that you need to take a boat there, but just walk over a bridge.

The next day, we took a trip to the Sachenhausen concentration camp. This is not a death camp, it's more to hard labour camp. But a lot of people died here too. It was a chilly day with the heavy snow and strong wind.

Seems I've left my blog deserted again. January is a busy month for me.

Sis gave birth to baby Ray so when I'm free, I hopped to her house to check the baby out. He is such a cutie!

I just came back from Bangkok today. Yes, it's the 4th time I'm there and I will make sure to visit there annually! This round is a fruitful round. We didn't visit any sight seeing place at all, because our main motive was to shopping. Additionally, we've been to most of the famous places in Bangkok already, so we might as well focus on our shopping. I have never bought this much of clothes before and I've lost count of what I bought. Will post more photo later. It's time to unpack whee~

After exchange semester

Hey there, I'm back to Malaysia and realized that I have deserted my blog for some really long time! Well, sorry to my blog. I have been travelling since 7th December from Berlin to Budapest, back to Germany on 14th and head to Italy on 15th till 22nd Dec! I knew I have an incredible travel schedule, and it's fun :)

I was lucky to have a good weather (not snowing heavily) to fly from Frankfurt to Dubai on 27th night and from Dubai to KL on 28th. I was kind of surprise when I saw my sis got so swollen due to her pregnancy. Well, that's the sacrifices woman make to have a baby. I headed back to Batu Pahat on 29th morning and back to KL again on 1st Jan 2011 :) Hope it's another great year for me :D

Well, actually I have some time to blog when I was in Jiaxi's place in Hallgarten but I was just too lazy. What we did during christmas eve was preparing dinner, talk, sing songs, watch drama and during christmas day, we made a snowman :D follow by preparing lunch and sleep after that. I slept a lot during that few days and it was always after meals lol

2010 has been a great year with nearly 5months of it in Europe zone hehe. Other than travelling, making lots of friends from all over the world, I also watched a lot of dramas LOL. I have done a lot of my first times and mosts during my exchange semester.

And finally, I've finished my first and final exam. It was quite easy. I finished my paper during half time.
Finally, my semester here kind of coming to an end. Kind of? Yes, because I still have 1 assignment but I had try to put in my ideas and sent to my group members. So the rest is their work :D

Heading to Berlin later, then Budapest. Will come back on 14th and leave for Italy on 15th. Will be back here again on 22nd to pack and check out on 23rd. Heading back home on 27th! Time really flies.

Finally and officially, I've finished my classes in EBS. But I still have 1 assignment to hand up. Luckily it's a group work and I just gonna do what I can since the due date is 23rd Dec and the guys will continue the work. I've forgotten to bring my camera to school to take a pic with my group members. They are nice people :)

I'm revising my German now, having an exam on Monday and later on, I need to see what I can do for the assignment. Today's class was boring to me. In fact, the supply chain management class was kinda boring to me... Finally, I slept for a split second in class, was holding it so hard!

Time really flies and I need to go back to KL in 25days time. To be frank, I can't get the study feel in EBS coz I am not taking lots of classes and if I take many classes, I can't do my trips. And since I can only do credit transfer for 2 subjects, so I just take that 2 and 1 more german. :P

It snowed for 2 days and 2days didn't snow, but the snow was still there. I managed to make a little snowman since the snow on the ground around my house is not that thick and we do not have a garden here. I think when the snow gets thicker, I shall go to Vivi's house to build a big one.

I have my Italy's trip train booked. Next week I am gonna settle every hostel for my trip to berlin, budapest and italy before I get going everywhere.

The weather forecast said it might snow tomorrow but chances are bigger on thursday as almost all the weather forecast site I have checked says it will snow on thursday. I am so looking forward for it. Previously I am still kind of worry about if it didn't snow before I go back to KL. haha

Went to EBS Christmas concert today but it was kind of boring. The band didn't sing any christmas song and we are asked to sing together instead. The feel was just not there and lacking. Spend 5euro for the entry and 1 euro for the waffle. Better toast my own waffle and eat with ice cream. Total cost also lesser than the cost I have spent today. Anyway, there's first time for everything. I'm not gonna fall for it again.

I am free this week but all train tickets and flight tickets are expensive now to book as last minute. So, I'm planning to visit Loreley tomorrow, hopefully... I am still wondering which is the correct station to go...Wondering should I ask some ppl to join me or not... and tomorrow's weather forecast says it might rain or snow. We shall see what time I wake up tomorrow then.

A fruitful London trip

Fruitful not as in full with shopping bags. Although I did get some clothes from Primark :D
In this 5days I managed to meet 2 old friends that I haven't meet them for more than 1 or 2 years!
Yea, I know I'm bad... Only will contact them when I want to go there, and I shall change my bad habit.

I love London for:
1. all in english
2. multi racial so you won't feel the difference like in Germany
3. metropolitan
4. full fledge transport system
5. trains cheaper than Germany

Day 1, met up with Elin @ Four Seasons to eat roast duck rice. It has been so long since I ate proper chinese food. I appreciate it! Then we went to Oxford street and head to Primark. I really love Primark, everything is so cheap there. Then Elin also brought me to Chinatown and I envy the chinese in London so much! Everything is there and so accesible; compare to Frankfurt T_T Then head to Ray's house and he was so kind to pick me up from the station.

Day 2, went to Cambridge and spend 3hrs plus there. Coz I prebooked the ticket and the day is gonna be dark very soon, so I didn't plan to stay there for longer time. It was a very beautiful city especially at the riverside. However, it was very windy and cold as well. Later, head to chinatown again to met up with Ray and his friends to have a chinese buffet dinner. Their buffet is like economy rice style, but it's good to have chinese food again! Had an enjoyable chatwith Ray too :D

Day 3, went to Harry Potter's platform, St paul's cathedral, walk along Thames, tower bridge, tower of london (just pass by) and Greenwich meridian time :) The sky gets dark around 4pm, so by the time I reached Greenwich, it was already very dark and worse, it rains. Nevertheless, I managed to find my way to the Royal Observation musuem where I can find the GMT 0 time :D Then met up with Ray to have British dinner. Oh well, britain does not really have any specialty food like in Europe. Or I should say, it's the base for western food, and other countries customized it to their own style. Nevertheless, I had a great time dining!

My british dinner for the day

Day 4, I woke up late coz I slept late previous night. Why? Thanks to my stupid group member for screwing up the assignment. I had yet to check the final version now and I do not wish to do so. So I had to amend his part and order him to continue to amend it. I arrived at Victoria Station around 10.40am, so I had to find my way quickly to Buckingham Palace in order not to miss the change of queen's guard ceremony. There were already lots of people waiting there. And it was so hard to find a good place to watch them. Alas, I had a chance to watch at the first row (just by the pagar) when they played the music. Next, I walked my way to Hyde Park passing through Green Park and Wellington's Arch. Then I took a bus to Kensington Park to look for Royal Albert Hall, where Siti Nurhaliza had a concert there years ago. Well, I'm not a fan of hers but I just wanna have a look at those buildings I heard of :) I love the fact thar London has so many parks and so accessible. Then I went to Harrods, took London eye and by the time I got off from London Eye, it was completely dark -_- Originally I planned to go to Sheperd's Bush for shopping but it was friday and shops are closing at 6pm (heard so), so I gave up and went to Oxford Street for Primark again. However, I didn't manage to go as well! Coz I had a movie later and I need to go home earlier to prepare myself. So, I head to Picadilly to look for Planet Hollywood for NC's shot glass but they are out of stock. What makes me pissed off is when I wanna borrow PH's toilet, the girl told me it's only for guest. What the heck, I wanna be your customer but you have no stock, and I can't use the toilet coz I am not your customer. So cheapskate.

Anyway, I head back to Ray's house and took a bath, had dinner and my Ben & Jerry's which I bought it for 1.99pound :D and head to the cinema for Harry Potter ! It was a good movie and I can see Harry Potter grew really old lol. Anyway, the gap between the series are too long and even I had forgotten who are some of the people in the show. There are some scary parts too, which I also terkejut and nearly jumped up!

Day 5, my damn phone had a sms and when I turned to look at it, I knocked my forehead to the cupboard next to me. Got myself prepared, and Ray sent me to airport :D Had a McD wrap and it was yummy! I arrived at Frankfurt with a depress feeling coz everything was back in Deutsch again T_T Reached home at 8pm coz I was late 3mins for the bus to Mainz. So in order not to wait for 2hrs, I pandai pandai took bus to Koblenz, and took a train back from there. The time was longer and more expensive T_T So I've learnt my lesson and I rather wait for longer time next time.

Since my discussion is gonna be on Sunday, I gave a call to Byrant yesterday to ask him about his outlet trip. Apparently they changed the date to 24th but he double checked with Alan and Nicole again whether wanna go today. Yes, we made it :) Bought a Schonen Wochenende ticket and each of us only pay 9euro for the trip to and fro. 4 hours to go there, 4 hours to come back. The ticket worth its price.

I've been struggling with my decision want to get a Longchamp or not...And I decided before I go back, I shall get 1 with tax refund. When Alan called me and told me the price in the outlet was 40+, I was like what!!!?? so cheap compared to the one I saw in Paris and I would not even think to buy.

I head to Longchamp, and start to choose. The color available was quite limited as well as the sizes. Originally, I took 1 medium in pink color thinking to buy for sis as her diaper bag. I didn't grab it on my hand, and later on, it's already on others' hand and all I can do is wait for him to put it back, but in vain. There's a white color with same size but I reckoned that with white color, the bag will be a waste. So I decided to get a non foldable one. And head to other shops. After that, I decided to make another trip to the shop again to see whether did they refill the stock. Yes, they did, although the lady told me all the sizes , and color there are last. Damn. So I quickly grab a foldable tote and bought it. Happy!

Forgot to mention, I even bought a long coat in Aldi for only 29.90~~ happy x 2!

It has been 6 days since I've updated my blog. Have been lazy and fallen for these few days. Last 2 weeks I have classes, 3days in a week, finally getting a bit busier but still very free. Was spending my time watching Criminal Mind and doing assignment. Byrant invited me for Wertheim outlet village shopping trip but I can't join because I wanna do my assignment. It's a group work so I have to wait for the group discussion. But I think that's an excuse! Anyway, I don't think I wanna go on this sat since I still have assignment to settle before I depart for London next week. Yea, I am going to London for 5days, will squat at Ray's house (thanks for his empathy) and let's see what to do there. I might need to bring along my lappy to work from London for my assignment... Damn it.

I just booked my ticket to Italy! :D:D from 15th Dec to 22nd Dec. The ticket was 6euro but after 12am, it turned 7euro! Darn it. Anyway, altogether my to and fro ticket only cost me 47euro, although that doesn't include the transport to the airport of course. I haven't decide whether to check in my luggage or not. Apparently, my luggage was a bit bigger than the allowed size but that front compartment is quite flexible which I can just push it in to go through the size gate. I shall check it out next week when I go to London on what kind of luggage can be brought.

I have just heard some news and started to wonder about the value system of the people in big cities. What are they thinking about? Is it really so complicated or they wanna make it so complicated?

Shopaholic goes to Wiesbaden

Went to Wiesbaden yesterday by bus with the intention to get C&A legging to wear as long john coz I've bought 1 in Prague and it is so comfy that I decided I should get 2 more. So I decided to take a 11.18am bus but it was late for 30mins. Nevertheless, I still manage to hop on the bus and reached Wiesbaden by almost 1pm. I reckoned I should be back by 4pm in order to skype with darling, so I have almost 2 hours shopping time. Thus, I can only shop by the shopping mall next to the Haupbahnof. Actually, it's more than enough with all the shops in there :D

There are H&M, pimkie, newyorkers, C&A and many more which I do not even have the time to check out. I spent almost 1.5hrs in C&A choosing and trying on the clothes. Now I regret that I didn't snap a pic of me with the leather tube dress on! T_T That dress worth 19euro but I hold on to it! I didn't buy that coz I've found a perfect jeans which also cost 19euro and I decided to choose the pair of jeans over that dress. Thinking that since I'm going to Bangkok on Jan, so I shall get nicer dress over there :)

Originally, I wanted to get 2pairs of the super comfy leggings but after I've found 2 shirts at 9euro each, and a pair of jeans that suits me perfectly well, I had to give up 1 pair of the leggings. I have to control my spending habit. So 4 items from C&A worth 46euros in total :) After that, I hopped in to H&M just to check out how expensive it was compared to C&A. I seldom shop at C&A previously. So the quality of H&M isn't that good compare to C&A but the design and style was much better. However, since I'm looking for simple designs and I'm not those chio people, C&A style is ok for me. And H&M clothes now doesn't really suit Malaysia weather later when I go back. But but but, I've found myself a 3quarter pants at 5euro! and I fits perfectly well too! Heck, whatever I take fits well this day. So in total I've bought 5 items with 51euro and that's in 2hrs time :D I'm a happy girl!

Today when I got back from school, I was thinking to try a new road. I knew that road will have a short distance of against the way to my house but I can ride on the path way. And so I took a early turning than before. Heck! That was a stony road! As usual it's a uphill road but the stones make it damn hard for me to ride! And so, I shall forget about the road next time.

I have a learning report, presentation slides, case study to finish by this week. A write up and final case for OB next week. And London will be waiting for me :D I shall stay at Ray's house to save my budget on hostel. The thing is, I haven't had the time to do any research at all!

Time really flies! Darling's visit to germany has ended today, with 12noon flight back to KL. I really wish to go back with him so much! I know I can't...

We had a great time at Prague and Vienna. Although we walked till our legs gave way. We depart from OW early in the morning to catch a train to cologne and from cologne airport, fly to Prague. Halfway through, we were forced to stop at a station due to DB's staff strike. The signal of the rail won't change and the train cant go through. I was damn worry and angry. We waited like for an hour and board the next train. Luckily I booked the train with 1 hour stopover at Cologne with original plan to visit the Cologne Dom. When we board the second train, we were also unsure what time we will reach Cologne. That makes me cry. Really cry. We've planned the trip since I'm here and DB were to ruin it! God bless, we reach Cologne main train station at 9.30am, and after taking some pictures of the DOM, we took a train to the airport which only takes 12mins. Phew.

We stayed in Marriot Prague thanks to darling's platinum membership and we were given the access to the executive lounge with free flow of snacks and drinks all day long. Our arrival gift, we chose variety of salmon and a bottle of red wine. It was so yummy! We managed to grab the high tea before we went out to visit around.

Had our expensive dinner at Kampa, and enjoy the night scene of Prague while walking back to the hotel.

We requested for late check out and on the next morning, we visited other places of Prague and ate the street food outside Palladium, the shopping mall. I've never thought roast pork can be that delicious.

We took a night bus to Vienna and arrived at 5.30am. It was so cold! Lucky for us, our hotel is just next to the Stephenplatz station and the best thing is, the hotel let us to check in at 6.30am in the morning! We manage to catch some sleep before we start our day in Vienna. Vienna is a very different city from Prague. More modern, and less of mystic feel. While visiting the Stephen Dom, we were approach by the concert ticket seller dressed in Mozart's suit and bought 2 tickets for the Mozart & Strauss concert, costs 78euro.

We also tried the famous Figlmuller pork schnitzel and it was really big. Visited the Sisi musuem for the day and saw austrian's demonstration too. After a eventful day, we head to Demel to try their famous cake and head to the concert hall. Felt a bit being cheated as it was not an orchestra but a concert with soprano and ballet. A new experience though. We then head back to the hotel with sore foot and grabbed supper at the McDonald's just opposite our hotel.

The second day, we checked out at 10am and went to check in at Wombat hostel for the second night, which was really close to the train station that we were supposed to take a train back to Germany next day. We went to SchonBrunn and spent the whole afternoon there. Then, went to look for Beethoven's and Mozart's statue to take some photo, as well as all the nice buildings we saw on the way. Had our dinner at a small restaurant which serve superb veal schnitzel and beef soup. I really felt that I was losing my senses because I was too tired. Our room at the hostel was a nice one. Clean and neat. Best of all, the wifi was free, not with a charge like the hotels we stayed.

I've been staying in my room for this whole week, after suffering from palpitation and short of breath. Tuesday morning, I had palpitation and my housemates called the ambulance to send me to the hospital. Took some blood test and ECG. I was put to rest in the ward and I was discharged around 4pm on the same day. Unfortunately, when I took a nap and around 8pm, I had palpitation again and Xue Chen called the ambulance again coz it's gonna be bad if I had that in the mid night. After a round of checking and ECG again, the doctor released me immediately and thanks to Brandon and his friends, Tim and Mark, they send us back to OW.

Brandon moved my mattress to his room and I spent a night there in case I need any help as he doesn't has a class the next day. I was alright for the night. Thursday night, I wasn't really dare to sleep as I am afraid that I have palpitation again. Bingo, and I was right, my heart beat turn fast and I woke up, quite afraid, I woke Xue Chen up to accompany me. She put me to bed and try to pacify me. Friday afternoon, I decided to go to the doctor to do a check up. To my surprise, I met 2 Indonesian Chinese aunties there, felt so warm :)

I did another round of ECG and heart ultra sound, showing everything is alright, and the doctor gave me a nasal spray to unblock my nose. So basically I am healthy :)

I realized it may be my heater as my room is small, and when I close my door and window during night time, I got suffocated. Even when I tilt the window, the air flow was not so good as well. In the end, I need to open my room door to have more air flow if I turn the heater on.

Yesterday night, I did not turn on the heater and I had a good sleep. I guess the heater might be the real cause of my palpitation and short of breath!!! However, there goes my Brussels and Luxemburg trip :( and my money of the hostel and tickets!!!

Aftermath from Holland

3D2N trip to Holland, nearly really brought me to Holland. Maybe I'm just being too paranoid but I won't take any luck for granted.

The story goes on like this, after walking around the red light district, I insist on buying the weed cake as this is what I thought must have when I am in Holland. So, the piece of cake worth 6euro and the seller told me to eat half and wait for 1 hour to see the effect.

We went back to our hostel, I ate 1 bite, and continue with my ribs from lunch, then take a shower, and ate another 2bites of the cake. After that, I went to sleep. Yes, sleep. The stupidest thing that I didn't check with anyone is I can't sleep after eating the cake! And I had my glucophage. Another stupid thing that I should have not done. No medicine with weed cake. It just didn't cross my mind.

So, halfway asleep, I woke up to pee and realize that I'm a bit dizzy. When I tried to lay back, I felt my eyes super dry, then I went to toilet again to wet my eyes. I tried to lay back, suddenly my heart pounding damn fast and I am out of breath. I quickly awake Nicole to get help and I rush to the reception to ask for help. The experienced receptionist deemed that I needed sugar water and provided me with that, and told Nicole to get me some sweets. To me, the situation was in such an emergency, and I kept telling myself to keep breathing. After a few glasses of sugar water and 1 bar of Mars, I get to catch more breath but heart still pound fast. My hands are kind of cramp and crooked, that was really scary. I felt the pain in my heart too, it's like going to burst due to pounding too fast and I was so scared that my heart cannot take that speed. I wanted to vomit and I was brought back to my room's toilet. I drank some water and vomited later. I saw the cake was also being vomited. I kept moving my body to avoid numbness in my limbs. Then the next thing I saw was Nicole vomiting. She didn't take any cake, but I guess after seeing my condition and vomited, she got disgusted and vomited. I still remember I patted her on her back while she was vomiting. I couldn't recall how long I was moving myself in the toilet, when Nicole told me it's almost 5am, I told her to sleep since I am better and I continue to take deep breath.

I do not really dare to sleep as in I am afraid that I may actually die in sleep. Eventually, I fell asleep for few hours. The next morning I was feeling okay, we headed for Zaanse Schans for the windmill village.

I started to had palpitation again at the train station and started to buy chocolates and juice. I can feel that Nicole is a bit pissed as I am kind of troublesome. I can understand... When we reached there, I have to walk slowly so that my heart beat won't go too fast. Each time I went to toilet, I had diarrhea. I guessed my body was trying to expel the toxic. On the way back to the Amsterdam, my condition wasn't better. So I took a rest at a cafe and Nicole just went to have a walk. I've checked with the waitress and she also told me to take sugar and water. Nicole came to the cafe earlier and we went to the central station for Den Haag. We were actually supposed to find the medical centre in the station that the waitress told me but there wasn't any medical centre in the station. I therefore went to a drugstore and the lady there told me there was nothing I can do other than drink lots of water and take some sugar.

We took some time to look for our hostel in Den Haag and I can strongly feel that Nicole was damn pissed off. However, she took a very good care of me by helping me to make my bed, assuring me to sleep and awake to check on me while I awake for toilet. I was awake in the night for 3 times and the 3rd one, I had a lot of sweat and I feel ok after that. The next morning, although still weak, maybe due to I hadn't really eaten any food and rest. I had a lot of chocolates though. I decided to just rest at Den Haag station while Nicole went to walk around the city coz I knew that she wasn't really happy and I might as well just don't further bother her. I walk around the station and read up the travel book from Vivi, decided to take a slow walk to some of the nearer places of interest. And I knew, if I can do some shopping, I can divert my attention of keep tracking my heartbeat. So, I did the Parliament, the art museum, and the shopping passage.

When I got back to the station at the agreed time, Nicole was already there. I guessed that she went there quite early. Our train was cancelled and we had to take another train to Utrecht. Basically, we had 2 hours of free time there but when I suggested to her, she told me I'm the one who can't run and walk fast, so it will be a risk to miss our train. Ouch. In fact, the walk is just 5mins and we can just walk back after that. But since she already said that, I just compromised lor~ Since I'm the one turn the trip to disaster.

I don't really can communicate well with her compare to Vivi. Language problem? Maybe, but I just don't feel the connection and can't find the topic to chat with her. Well, it might be due to age gap,who knows~ Anyway, I still need to thank her and I really owe her for helping me.

I really felt that I nearly lose my life and got it back now. At that point of time, I think of my darling and I wanted to tell him that I love him. And I thought of my insurance, oh no, they will not give any compensation due to drug usage! When I got back and told my sis and darling about it, they still "haha" about it, that really got on my nerves coz I really felt like dying. Anyway, it's my bad that I didn't check properly with the seller what to do after eating the cake.

Warning to potential weed cake eater: Eat bit by bit and DO NOT SLEEP after eating it. Do some activities instead!

The search for passion

I've been losing out passion on my work. First, when the basic salary was cut 500bucks from my previous pay. Second, when the first anniversary increment was only peanuts, not even 10%. Next, the yearly increment and bonus also disappoint me. What more to say, the best year I have the chance to get E, but it was forfeited by so called leaders. There goes my big bonus and more importantly, my increment. I was so disappointed in fact.

What it takes to get an E ? Nobody can answer me. I've asked a few bosses in fact, but no one gave me the answer. I did pick up extra work, but nobody recognized it. I am seriously counting my days now.

I've been trying to search for my passion for my job, but I realized it is gradually dying out. My exchange semester here made me realize what a true leader is, which I did not yet to see in my section. All I see is groupthink, silo, and biased treatment.

It has been 27years in my life and I've experienced the biggest breakthrough. I realized my dream to study overseas and now I am, in Germany. Although is just student exchange but that is already enough for me, considering I do not have a rich background to support me, I am using my own savings and scholarship to fulfill it.

I don't think so I will have big celebration this time, actually I didnt have big celebrations back in KL also...just to celebrate with closest friends and family and of course my darling. I shall buy myself a birthday cake later and treat me well! The best birthday present for myself this time is my trip in europe :D I am going to Holland next week, going to Paris the week after, followed by Prague and Vienna. November, I am going to London :D :D

My housemate, Xue Chen bought me a cake and I cooked dinner for her and another housemate, Beatriz. The other housemates are not in so too bad la, they can't have my dinner :P I prepared 2 vege, 1 steam egg and Ayam masak merah! The cake from Aldi is actually yummy! and it's just less than 4euro! I never thought cakes from super market can be that yummy!

I just got back from Switzerland and indeed, it's a very expensive place. Just the 3day swiss pass cost me 212swiss franc + 20 euro. It's RM600++! And the cable car + cogwheel train to Mt Pilatus cost me another 32swiss franc. T_T

We stayed in Bern for 4nights and make day trips to different places of Switzerland. Day 1, Bern, 2, Lucerne, 3, Zurich and 4 Geneva. The 5th day is a travelling day and here I am back in oestrich-winkel.

Switzerland is a very beautiful place but it actually depends on the area. I love Lucerne. A touristy place but it's also very beautiful.

Zurich is a nothing much to see place, perhaps because of the rain, but we just spend half a day there and proceed to St Gallen. St Gallen also has only a few places for visit and everything was so expensive in each part of Switzerland.

Geneva has more things to see compare to Zurich but IMHO Lucerne is the best.

I have a feeling that I am very thankful to darling for supporting me to apply for student exchange program. That won't not happen if I am not with darling, who gave me courage and support. I may even not taking MBA program if without darling. I feel like I am dreaming when I step on my first step on Deutschland, but I know I am not dreaming. Thanks for the support of my darling!

I'm in switzerland now and will be back to germany on sunday. Spent lots of money this round. Switzerland is so expensive! A thing sell in germany for 0.49 euro can be 1.20 here! I had a super expensive lunch today at old swiss house as well. The super branded watches like Rolex and Raymond Weil are sold by almost every stores here and it does not look as exclusive as in Malaysia. haha

After a 6days of travelling, I'm back in my cosy little room and with my clothes in front of my heater in order to dry them up before wednesday - my trip to Switzerland. Yea, I'm going to Switzerland on this wednesday till sunday...I think. It's not me who bought the ticket so basically I have no idea where to stay and what to play. I shall follow my friends and have fun! And when the time I got back again, I shall be back to books and take a week's rest before going out to travel again.. hopefully. I have to plan to go to London, Amsterdam, Belgium, Italy, Rome, and hopefully Barcelona. And when darling come over here, we shall visit Prague and Vienna together :D

On tuesday morning, we took a train to Fuessen and reached there at 6pm. Head to our private house hostel and it was really awesome! It's a private house and better than hotel, as in we have the kitchen, bathroom, living room, garden, basically the whole floor :) and what makes it even better is the cost. It's only 15euro per night per person. Dirt cheap.

I had a pork knuckle for dinner for the day and I concluded that German food was too salty for me. They like to use a lot of salt in their meals and I actually may think their salt are free! Grill fish, roast chicken, everything is coated with salt. But that's the only way you can taste the original taste of the food. However, the gravy for the pork knuckle is too salty for me though. And the potato knoedel is not my cup of tea. The potato knoedel tasted like potato kuih. I don't really like it.

The next morning, we headed to Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau castle to make a visit and to Fuessen town. It's a small town whereby we managed to visit it in 2-3 hours time. The lake there was awesome!

The next day, we depart for Garmish-Partenkirchen for Bavarian Alps. We missed the earliest bus to get there, and after I bought the Bayern Ticket, I got to know that I can't take the later bus as the bus was from Austria company. So I need to take another bus 5mins later, but the bus was never here. We met another 2backpackers from Taiwan and together, we took a bus to Pfrontten and train to Tirol, and Garmisch. We were so lucky to meet the ladies so we can divide our share of the bayern ticket and travel to Bavarian Alps together. It was really fun and it's my FIRST time to see snow! I am really overwhelmed! I do pray hard that it snows here in the winter so that I can see the snow flowing down from the sky :D

We spent a night in Garmisch and headed to Munich on Friday. The weather was not too good as it was cloudy for the whole day and we just spend our time at Marienplatz and the church nearby, and shopped around. Not an eventful day for the first day in Munich and we weren't too excited about it. However, our dinner were great! We went to the famous HofBrau Haus and they serve yummy pork knuckle there. Well although I didn't order as I was not feeling too well in my stomach and I do not want to eat too much. I've tasted the one Vivi ordered but I still think it was a bit salty for me. I ordered a salad with suckling pig. Young piglets I would say. It's not those suckling pig in chinese style. The meat was tender and soft. Superb!

After that, we took a train to Augsburg, where we rented a hotel there, and took a taxi to the hotel (my first time of taking a Benz taxi in Germany). We were so scared coz the taxi took us to a place like jungle! It's so dark without the lights but there are trees at both side! I was thinking damn it, what the taxi driver wanna do to us. Apparently in the end of the road, that's the location of our hotel... What a sankala place.

On saturday morning, we need to take a bus, and tram (first time taking a tram!) and train to Munich. There was a opening parade for the oktoberfest and it's a spectacular parade. I have never seen so many horses in my life but I've seen it in these 2 days and there were lots and lots of people there! We went to HB Haus tent and enjoy a big time there singing and toasting with others. Well, vivi, xc and me shared a 1 litre beer. The beer tasted better than what I have tasted in Malaysia but I still do not like it very much. After that, we did some shopping for the oktoberfest souvenirs and headed back to our hotel in Augsburg. We missed a bus and miss a stop, means we were in our bus but it was too dark and we missed it! So we stayed in the bus for another 1 round and the driver alerted us when we reached our place. It was so dark and I had to on my camera's light to lit up the road. What a place!

Guess what, on beautiful sunday morning, Vivi asked me to pass her the toilet roll outside the room, and to the shock of my life, I saw the only guy in our group, sleeping naked. OMG... brainless man. Luckily I just saw the side view and did not see other thing else. I really take my hat off him... Anyway, back to the day. We take some 20-30mins walk to the tram station as we do not want to be late for the 2nd day parade for oktoberfest. Running like crazy when we saw the tram and hop on into it, catch the train and directly reach the Therienswiese station. The parade was soooo long and I guess it lasted for 3 hours. We started to watch it from 10am and by nearly 1pm, it is still in the proceeding. We went off to find our lunch and ended up in a tent with empty seats. The menu was actually ok, the price for the event. The atmosphere was not so high as the one in HB Haus as this one was full with ah gong and ah mah. However, the oktoberfest beer brew by them was the best beer I had in my life! No bitter at all! All the ah gong and ah mah in the tent were so high as well, in a different was of course. They dance and sing and toast :D There was only a performer but he really brought up the atmosphere of that place. We really enjoyed it :D

And now, here I am blogging away in my cosy room after taking a bath and I guess darling has went out so I could not call him on skype. Tomorrow morning maybe...

I have incredible schedule. I just got back from Hamburg on this morning 2am and I slept at 3am+ and class on 945am this morning. I have another german class on 1645 and I have to go to Fuessen tomorrow at 1018! phew.

I havent even got the time to upload my photo to stuttgart and heidelberg and now hamburg!
And I wonder when will I have the free time to upload it and how long will it takes...due to the stupid internet that cost me 9euro per month!

My travel plan starts from tomorrow:

Just a quick update because I have to do my assignment :(

Got back from stuttgart and heidelberg(again) on sunday and went to class on Monday. Apparently, I have an assignment to passup every week. Monday class, Friday deadline and discuss the case on next monday. So sien.

Went to Wiesbaden yesterday with Xue Chen and Bu He, got myself a trench coat from H&M and a pullover sweater. Besides that, I chose my own birthday pressie from darling as well wheeeeeeee! I got a 3 in 1 jacket as my birthday present. It is so important for me now as next week I'm going to Alps and it's gonna be the must have item. I will post some pics later on.

So I need to get back to read on the case now and write a 2-3page paper T_T for the case. I must finish it by tomorrow as friday I will be off to Hamburg!

Frankfurt & Heidelberg

There was a free excursion with half day city tour by the school the Frankfurt. Basically, I found that KL is much better than Frankfurt, but of course, Frankfurt is not the capital of the country and not even capital of the state. So cannot compare la ~

Initially, we plan to go to Berlin after Frankfurt but due to the ticket price doubled when we check it over the counter, we decided to scrap the plan and plan for something else. We chose a trip to Heidelberg which only costs us 8.70 per pax for the whole day unlimited regional bahn. So after a chinese style dinner in Frankfurt, went to asia market to get some stuff, and headed back for OW.

On Sat, off we go to Heidelberg. It's a 3hr train ride. Actually it's supposed to be 2.5hr but the train from OW to Wiesbaden was late! We gotta take another train path to Heidelberg... Anyway, we reached Heidelberg as planned and we were so lucky to meet an uncle in the tourist centre where he lead us to the station nearer to the castle uphill.

Things I did on last sunday

Sunday at Oestrich Winkel is just a NUA day. Shops are closed and there's nothing for us to do basically other than watch drama, cooking, house chores and NUA.

So this is what I did on last sunday.
I did my laundry on sat night, and since I do not have a dryer at home now, I am using all the properties I have in my room to dry my clothes, including the reflection from the glass :) I am such a smart girl haha

Rudesheim Trip

Let's start from the Rudesheim trip. It's a wednesday and since it's sunny, we decided to make a trip to Rudesheim for its cable car. It's just 7mins train trip and it's a completely different town. Considering it is a tourist spot, there are more restaurants and shops there.

Today I was attacked by my old problem - gastric. It was 2 or 3 am in the morning where I started to vomit. Vomited all the food ate yesterday for dinner, then took some water and back to sleep. After a while, I vomited all the water I had just now. I couldn't even recall how many times I've vomited. I guess it's around 5 or more times. Everything I tried to swallow, it will come out. Until I didn't drink any water, the bladder juice came out.

Then I decided I cannot go to school today for the talk, and I asked my housemate to get me an isotonic drink after school. I was asleep the whole afternoon till around 1pm. It was much better whereby I didn't vomit my isotonic drink, but I could not swallow any food. I made 2 pieces of toast, where I only managed to finish 1 and it took me more than 30mins to finish it.

I took a nap after video conferencing with Darling before he went to work. I was much better then. At least I can eat 1 piece of orange and 1 peach. So, basically I spent the whole day at home, watch drama and check on the Berlin trip thingy.

There's a excursion to Frankfurt tomorrow and I will depart for Berlin on friday night, reaching there on Sat morning and come back to OW on Sunday.

Oh, my blog is so outdated. I should be writing my 2nd trip to Ruedesheim again but it is kinda late now. I need to go to schloss campus tomorrow by 815am I guess. It's a 25mins bike trip.

It's great that we have Byrant with us now coz he is the one planning the trip! I am so lazy to plan a trip now and it's good to have him diligently planning the tripsssss.

I had sent in my application for residence permit today together with my passport, so that means I would not be able to travel out of Germany. However, Germany alone is already very very big for me to travel. On this friday, we will have a excursion session to Frankfurt with a guided tour and after that we will take a train to Berlin. It's gonna be an overnight one and we will arrive Berlin in Sat morning, and be back to OW by Sun evening to prepare for class on the next day. Sounds good.

I will try to update the Ruedesheim cable car tomorrow, perhaps. It's the only free time left for this week.

Rudesheim Wine Festival

Yea it's all about wine here :) We seized the chance to visit Rudesheim on last saturday since the weather was good, in fact, very hot, and sunny. Took a bus to Rudesheim and joined the Wine Festival there. It was a much smaller one compared to the one in Wiesbaden but the feeling is totally different. It is more centralized and there's 1 big stage for the performers to perform. There are many shops too, by the river Rhein and around the square.

Here, you can also take a Rhein river cruise, which we didnt take. And you can also take a cable car up hill which we missed it too due to I was down with food poisoning. I ate a fish burger and 2 glass of wine, but I was not feeling really well and went to toilet for twice. After taking a rest by a shop while the others just walking around by the area, I really feel better.

So, here's the shopping bug comes. I spotted a shoe store when we first arrived and it closes on 6pm. Since it was before 6pm, I headed to the shop with Vivi and I bought a pair of boots! Well, I didn't choose the leather one coz it's kind of expensive! The leather one costs 69.90 Euro. The one I bought is made of Nappa and it is just 35.90Euro. So I guess it's a pretty decent price and I really love the design compared to what I've seen in Wiesbaden. Though the leather one is a bit more prettier~ And sarcastically, I had forgotten that there's a shoe shop just opposite my house and I didn't even check it out! Oh my! I should have check it out since I am a shoe lover! Guess that will be tomorrow :)

Updates from Deutschland

I know, I should blog as frequent as possible. But sometimes it takes a little too long for blogspot to upload my pics... And the photo I post here, is different from my FB! :D

Let's start from the Wednesday we went to Wiesbaden to shop and wine festival :)
We took a train there which cost us 4.80 Euro per pax. Gosh! It's a group ticket and god knows why is it so expensive! Whatever, since we are kinda late, we have no choice but to take the fastest way there.

After spending some time in the wine fest, as there were 2 lady sitting beside us telling us stories and stories, we are kinda late for shopping. However, we did go to shop! Zara is having off season sale @ 4.99 euro and above. According to Williams it's a shitty brand in Europe. I wonder why is it so expensive in M'sia. Me and Vivi went to Zara, Mango, H&M, and many other shops to check out. I didn't get anything in the end -_-
So since we were busy shopping, I totally forgot to take any photo at all. That's me.

I nearly bought a pair of boots at the mall near Haupbahnof but the lady told me my Timberland goretex is perfect. So I give up to buy that pair of boots which may costs me 70euro. Then we took a 830pm train back to OW with a transit @ Geisenheim. I was scolded by an Old Fashion German lady in the train coz I on my mp3 in broadcast mode. Niama.

When we arrived at OW, it's already kind of dark and we still had to ride our bicycle back! So we decided to ride against the way coz it's dark and we thought that it's safer that way.

On 19 Aug, I went to the local authority office to register myself. The purpose is to tell the ketua kampung that I am staying here. It is located on the hill and I am half dead after riding my bike up there. I did not have a map on my hand, all I rely is the signboard :) Williams and Alan went there earlier without my knowledge. So I got to go there myself after class.

The office was at the end of the road and all I see after the office is unlimited vineyards!

I was mesmerized by the scenic view and I rode all the way to get the best view of the vineyards ignoring where I was going actually, coz since as long as going downhill, I'll be able to find my way home :)

Dream come true! How unbelievable is that?! Well, I've been putting efforts to get the student exchange program going and here I am, in EBS, germany. It's really unbelievable!

I've always wanted to study overseas and now I am realizing my dream :) even it's just a semester, it is enough for me :) It's my first time going this far and taking a long haul flight! I'm kinda scared actually. The standards of education here. But of course, gonna learn lots of things here.

Everyday is a unexpected day. I just love this village and the architecture here ~

Lost in Wiesbaden

Here it goes. We decided on saturday that we will check out Wiesbaden on Sunday and we did! So me, Xue Chen, Alan, Brandon, Vivi and Lily met up at our flat entrance and take a 5 mins walk to the bus stop to catch a bus to Wiesbaden. The public transport system here is PERFECT. The bus and train arrive on time. I actually wonder how bus can arrive on time because we have people going up and down the bus, people asking questions to the driver holding him from moving and red lights etc. Despite all these, the bus is perfectly punctual. Late for 30seconds? Wait for the next one.

The journey to Wiesbaden is like 40minutes and we got off at Wiesbaden Haupbahnof, which is Wiesbaden train station. We went in the station and check it out and exit from the side door. There's where we started to make ourselves lost in Wiesbaden!

After the church, some of them got hungry and we need to find something to eat. However, it's a sunday and all the shops are closed! Including shopping malls. Only some convenience stores (like 7-11 kind of stores) are open. Unlimited walking and stop by to ask people around. We are lucky to have Alan coz he speaks some german. Bravo Alan! So, on our way back to Haupbahnof to get food (shops are open there!), we saw another cathedral. I shall get the names...

Since it was early, we decided to go and look for MarktPlazt (market plaza) where I guess there will be more people and maybe a market there... And we were lucky! The Wiesbaden Wine Week was held there! AHAHA I'm so overwhelmed! There's a big cathedral in the MarktPlazt and it was surrounded by all the wine stalls. yea! I saw schloss vollrads recommended by bro!

3 days in Oestrich-winkel

Today is the 3rd day here, and I guess I've walked like more than 30km. I am so impressed with myself as I can walk that much! My legs are painful, but I guess I hurt it when I was back in KL before I came. Once you got old, you just can't avoid all these nonsense. I shall drink more milk and get my calcium back!

So, on the 2nd day, I went to pick up my parcel and later to Aldi to check the store out. It was even smaller than Rewe which is nearer to our place. But the price seems to be cheaper. However, Rewe has more choices. Update: 3whole drumsticks worth 2.29euro. 2.5kg of potato worth the same. Question: which one is more worthy?

I really hope to get a bike on monday so I wouldn't torture my pitiful feet anymore. I walked another maybe 10km today or even more. But today was ok as I was in my sports shoe. So I guess maybe it's because of the shoe. I should have bought the scholl shoe. Full of regrets now.

I'm actually supposed to go to the authority office to register myself to the local authority, then Brandon told me that he is planning to go to Wiesbaden, which is a bigger town. So I decided to abort the registration plan and join him and Alan. When we got to the train station, there were no ticket counter there. I guess that might be the same for many of the train stations here. Not just OW. And we head to bus stop planning to take a bus. A guy waiting for bus told us that we need to get ticket on the ticket kiosk, so we got back to the train station and figure out how to use the machine again. But in vain. So we decided to go to look for our Burg campus in the end. Luckily we manage to find it :D So we nearly got on the bus to Wiesbaden but I guess that the driver was annoyed with us asking him and holding the traffic, he just told us to get the next bus. Later on, we realized that we could pay on the bus and head to Wiesbaden T_T

Anyway, I got myself a sim card and a samsung basic phone for 9euro. Dirt cheap. Then I topped up a least amount of 15euro. When I was chatting with sis, then only I realize that I've spent RM100 for it. Hmmphh that was for the credit!

Later on, we were back to our hostel again to find Xue Chen, my housemate and headed for Rewe. The shops here are not open on Sunday and so, we need to get some food. Spent another 10euro. I've been stocking up on my groceries these 3days and I don't think I really need to get any food later for the next 2 weeks. Seriously. Yea, maybe for some juice. The juice here is very cheap, compared to mineral water. And cheap too if compared to juice in Msia. Grapes here is cheap, half the price what I will need to spend in Msia to get the same amount, berries are cheap too!

We ended up cooking for our lunch+dinner as there were no shops open at 2.30pm anymore for lunch. Without any choice, we started to cook. Actually the cooking plan is supposed to be tomorrow I guess. Anyway, we prepared curry chicken and spaghetti. The curry I brought from KL taste really good and it actually goes well with the spaghetti :D So thanks to the cooking session, we realize that the sink in our kitchen leaks! Thanks to the guys for cleaning it for us.

Evening time in OW is a boring one. The shops are closed, nowhere to go. We decided to visit Chi an and Lily since they are staying really near to us. It's just 2 streets away. Their place is nice as it's a proper landed house and the landlord is staying with them. Furthermore, they got their internet for FREE! Darn it. Hppmmhh Why EBS is charging us then T_T

Anyway, after some talking and bringing them over to show our flat, I'm back again in my little cozy pig sty to blog away. it's 1130pm now and I guess I should be sleeping. My new housemate just came and I didn't even catch her name :P I shall do it tomorrow.

Alas, my efforts has made my dream come true - study in overseas, in Oestrich-Winkel, a small german town which takes a 45mins ride by car from Frankfurt air port.

In Dubai...

I touch down before 1pm, which is like 30mins earlier. Waited for my luggage for some time, and got out from the airport. Apparently there are not so many shops that are appealing to me.

Took the escalator that can even carry a trolley, got the hell out of me. I saw people pushing it quite easily so I just follow the suit. I thought the trolley was going to fall on me but NOT. It got hold of the escalator and stay still! After up and down for a few times, I'm an expert now. LOL So darling, when you come here, I shall teach you.

I waited for some time at the meeting point before meeting Moon Joung, the korean girl. And we decided to walk around. Sigh, if I am the one walking around, I will do some shopping... So, the driver came on time and pick us up, and we waited for an hour go round and round for Ramiro, the mexican. His flight was delayed and the driver took a hard time to look for him.

The driver dropped them at Rheinstrasse 14, their flat, opposite to the Rhein river! And drive me to my flat. It was quite a distance to school from my flat. Anyway, it's in my plan that I shall get a bike. I'm so blessed that the driver helped me to carry my luggage to the 2nd floor and another uncle helped me to carry it to the third! I spent some time to look for my apartment, as there were no house number outside the house; trying each door with my keys.

My flat is a small flat with 3 rooms, which the rooms are big (although mine is the smallest, but it's still ok for me) and the bathroom is big too. However, the living hall is quite small, maybe because there's a wardrobe there. I contacted Brandon (from US) and together with Francesco the italian, where both of them just stay downstairs, we went out to check out the town a bit. Found out a family store (supermarket) and bought some food. Oops! forgot to check out whether they sell rice there!

It's summer now and the sky is still bright even at 9pm. We got back around 8pm and I went back to my room to unpack all my stuff. Finally, got the stuff all arrange and when I fit the bed sheet on my bed, shit, the sheet was too small. It seems that their mattress was longer... Whatever, I shall visit Kati, my coordinator, later to get my parcel ah Boy sent me, which consists of the bedding set.

And my breakfast was the bread I bought from the bakery yesterday. Very filling indeed.
Went to schloss to get ah boy's parcel Kati and it took me 1 hr on foot. The way back? 1.15hrs, with a box of comforter and pillow. Wait, where is the bed sheet??? The bed sheet I brought along apparently is too small and now I got to use it coz ah boy didnt send to me. I cut the bottom edge and sew it into the mattress, so it won't go off the mattress. I'm so tired now! I feel that the 2 hr walk going to get me lose 2kg! However, it is kinda lucky that I chose this place because along the way to schloss, oestrich-winkel is the more happening (compare to hattenheim) town or should I say village...

Darling is sleeping soundly now :)

I waited for 1hr at the airport coz darling had to wait for the luggage which is very slow. Then we repack the luggage to send the things his sisters bought and off we go to niece J's birthday party at Baskin Robbins.
Went to his sis's house for a while and when we came back, it was already near to 7pm.

Got some rest and went to send bag to Jes and send some chocolates to Sis. And back home again to clean up the mess from the luggage.

I got my down filled jacket, fleece jacket, thermal pants, polo T, chiffon blouse, baby G and lots of chips and chocolates :D

Most importantly, I got my darling back yeah!

Crappy, maybe I'm just too happy. We are going to Penang tomorrow for a 3D2N trip. yea!

I have so many things to do tomorrow morning. T_T
vacuum, mop floor, wash toilet, make the bed, go to market, make sandwich, take bath, blow my hair nicely.

Yea! I will meet my darling on this coming sunday :D :D And will depart for penang trip on monday, and the next next thursday I'll be flying for Frankfurt. Excited!

Shum and bf are coming over this friday and weekend. Glad to meet them again before I depart for Germany :) Don't think so they can meet darling though...

Should I take 4 subjects??? -_-

It's already less than 1 month's time! To be exact, 23days to go to 2am of 12 Aug 2010. Yes, that's my flight's time to head to Frankfurt, for my student exchange program in EBS. J

Darling is coming back on 1st Aug and we are going for our 3D2N Penang trip! ♥

I just got back from Cameron & Ipoh yesterday for a 2D1N trip with my gals. It's an enjoyable weekend getaway and I just love the time and the moment spent with the gals!
